Kent Cooper has been providing his professional services in mergers and acquisitions, high-end business brokerage, commercial real estate brokerage, commercial real estate appraisals, and certified business valuations since 2002.

Kent holds active licenses as a Licensed Real Estate Broker (#BK3018125) and a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (#RZ3284), with over 1,000 hours of professional education. He has earned several distinguished certifications, including the Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) from M&A Source and the Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Professional (CM&AP) from Kennesaw State University’s Cole School of Graduate Business. Kent is also a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) from the International Business Brokers Association. Additionally, he holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation (#14081), a recognized expert in commercial and investment real estate. The CCIM designation is considered preeminent in the industry, with less than 6% of commercial real estate professionals holding this title. Kent’s formal education includes a BBA in Accounting from Texas State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of the Incarnate Word.

Since 2002, Kent has been providing lower middle market mergers and acquisition services for various companies in home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), construction, manufacturing, distribution, retail, professional services, and other unique business opportunities. He also specializes in investment properties, including office, retail, multi-family, marinas, and industrial properties.

Kent has experience with a wide range of property types, including commercial, retail shopping centers (3,000 SF to 345,000 SF), multi-family apartments (9 units to 335 units), Class A & B office buildings (10,000 SF to 175,000 SF), and specialty buildings such as marinas, veterinary clinics, restaurants, hotels, movie theaters, and small to medium-sized businesses.
